Umm… I think you're missing the previous poster's point. It sounds like the user is making a statement by referring to the application as cross-platform instead of just labeling it as a Java app. I believe it is a sort of tongue-in-cheek about how on the whole, in order for an Application to be cross-platform, the application cannot be any better that the greatest common factor would allow; in this case (like most), OS X suffers the feebleness of Windows.
