Unacceptable pricing - gavinwj

They're a Belgian company, so it's not as if they don't know that the "home" crowd is going to be angry about this pricing scheme.

The "try it" option doesn't actually let you try the application - you just get to watch a Flash demo.

Anyway, I bought and installed it... and it won't launch. It bounces once in the Dock and that's it. I emailed for support but have yet to receive a reply. If I don't hear from them, it'll be chargeback time on the ol' credit card.

I'm not sure why you're mentioning PDFPen Pro in connection with ReadIris. Are you thinking of some other application? It doesn't appear that there are any references to OCR on the developer's site.
