Buggy feature-poor products aren't a bargain - glewbel
The original price for v. 1 was low indeed, but many users discovered promptly that the product wasn't, and all the company did in response was to put up a Bento users' forum. The moderator for that forum spent all her time fending off criticism and complaints, and relaying suggestions to the developers (apparently) for a year. Nothing was fixed and nothing was improved until (Ta Da!) a new full-priced version was released, and the early loyal customers were told that they could buy yet another low-priced product from the same developers. Does that strategy make sense to you? If so, the next time anyone says, "Trust me," you will! Good luck!Wednesday, October 15 2008 @ 10:44 AM PDT
