I downloaded the version 2 trial version and the differences between 1 and 2 are little more than cosmetic. Virtually none of the functionality changes are what people really wanted (based on the FileMaker Bento forums).
So now, they're rewarding the early adapters (the ones who beta tested and provided feedback for their product) by requiring them to pay full price a second time .
