I have the same problem: Only with Yahoo I get the websites in Inquisitor. Do you know where I can get version 3.0 ??

No, it does not disable google search.

You can switch to Google if you want to in Safari preference!

Not sure what you are talking about...?!? I have been using this with Google for a long time and I still do with the current version -- and it works as good as ever...! I get all the results I want and of course it shows me the websites as well...! Maybe you just messed up your settings...?!
