Update unavailable through Apple Menu - vskbokkie

I've got the same problem. Due to problems i had to reinstall osx but before i did i had the update installed. So now after reinstalling osx,my projects won't work, unless i get the update.
I've tried to find on the macsite but with no results.

I think i've got it. I had contact with apple and they could not help me yet but i finally got the update through apple menu software update. This is what i replied to apple:
"Hi Sean,
I finally got the update through apple menu software update. Apparently it won't show up in the list when you haven't installed all other updates. Even those that have absolutely nothing to do with finalcut what so ever like itunes 8 and some java updates. So after installing the updates that i didn't really want, the update for final cut express did present it self in the list when i manually checked for updates.
I still think its strange that you can't pull it off the website manually.
