My “friends on the VersionTracker team”... - macwzl

"3. Today, The VersionTracker application has consistently reported that my computer cannot connect to the Internet (error code 28), when it is indeed connected."

A bug going way back, accompanied by that damned annoying bounce-bounce in the dock.

Yes, this is appalling. I have the same problem. And whilst this is sorted out, VT is unusable, since it refuses to work unless I delete back to three computers or less. Man or man, this used to be a good service. Now, I don't know.

Re. VersionTracker support - CNET TechTracker Staff

Robert,

We're very sorry to hear about the trouble you have had with your subscription.

The bounce message you received from an old address should not have pointed you to this page, but instead, to our Support site here: http://support.versiontracker.com

On the above page, you may visit the "Email Support" tab to contact us directly. Once you open a ticket, you may then respond to that ticket via e-mail to continue your conversation with a support representative.

Our support team should be able to assist you with each of the issues you bring up in your post. I can tell you that your error 28 was very likely from a temporary server issue that we have since fixed. If you are still experiencing this, please try to quit and re-start VersionTracker Pro.

Regards,
VersionTracker Support
