Still good...but also still ugly, still bloated...! :( - Chowman
"you believe that HOW MANY people feel the same??"Clearly, the reviewer believes that precisely one person feels that way: him (or her).
And that's exactly what this site's for: offering one's opinions.
So don't be such a shmuck...

it IS very ugly, but worth the aesthetic pain - Krioni
GC's interface is goofy and not very Mac-like, the preferences are a maze of bad design, and it is not very attractive. That said, there's nothing that compares to it on functionality. So, we take the very good with the bad. I just wish Thorsten Lemke would do a little interface design work, or perhaps ask someone else to.
I was at an Apple Dev Talk and GC's preference dialog was used as an example of bad design. Totally true, but Thorsten kinda gets a pass from most Mac users, for good reason.
Me - happy GraphicConverter license user for over 10 years, and licensed for most of them.

Uhm, ..."needs" a major overhaul? Let's see, ...you believe that HOW MANY people feel the same?? Give us a break, please! This kind of comment could only be made by a "consumer type" person, paying attention more to looks than to FUNCTION.
See, ...something that's ALSO "been said before", and probably many more times than demands for a shiny interface, is that this is very probably the "most regularly updated, best supported, best equiped AND best priced application EVER made for the mac".
I can find NO POINT in your statement, other than demonstrating that you are clearly the type of person that would make some kind of negative comment about the BAG that somebody used to hand you a million dollars in being "out of style", or worse, came in some "color" you don't like.
Some people reach perfection only in finding flaws even in the best of what this world has to offer. *lol*
Good luck with your attitude, ...seriously!
