Response from the developer... - ThrowAwayAccount

I just downloaded the standard demo and tested it with my camera. It works... but it does try to establish a connection to "web-uk.onetel.net.uk on TCP port 80 (http)" as reported by Little Snitch.

I looked for an option to disable this "phone home" which I'll first gave the benefit of the doubt that it's a version check. But there is no option to disable this.

So, what gives? I'm very suspicious after seeing the other note talking about Spyware...

Thanks.

Sincerely,
Almost a paying customer

1) Your software phones home to download lists of users that aren't allowed to run your software any more.
2) It is possible through DNS spoofing and a variety of other methods for the average user to have his machine hijacked.
3) I have never sucessfully used your software, and I encourage all users looking at this software as prospective buyers to look elsewhere for all the reasons I mention in my review.
