I give up - Trevor Harley

I didn't give up and now I've got it working.

The key to success is to keep plugging away. You just ignore the error messages. Each time you get one just quit and the next time you open up you'll be one step more along.

Hardly great programming, but at least WL works on my Intel iMac. I occasionally still get input errors, but again just quit and try again - sometimes though you need to unplug the USB cable, or even restart.

I give up - X-caiver

I was pretty frustrated with the quality of the WeatherLink software, so I wrote my own. Go search for Weather Now here on VersionTracker.

There are some things that the WeatherLink software can do that my Weather Now doesn't do, but as I decide I need some particular new feature I implement it. There are also some things that Weather Now does that WeatherLink doesn't, such as having an AppleScript interface so you can really make use of the weather data.
