Everybody wants Tiger back - Diks Toosl

Are you not very good at your job, or just very good at complaining?

Neither of my Macs (PMG4MMD, MBP rev2) or any the macs I help administer (PB-Ti 17", PB-Al 12", iBook G4, Mini rev 1) have had ANY trouble running under Leopard.

If you want to be useful - or just taken seriously, talk like you know what you're talking about, 'kay?

In all events, you & yours are not "EVERYBODY"
Thanks for playing!

Everybody wants Tiger back - Gennx30

I agree out of the 15 Mac users I know only 4 are super happy, the rest are in the from "OK-to sh*t" category
Ive gone back to Tiger twice-lets see if 10.5.5 is more garbage-or finally how it should have been.
Anyone whose reads all the boards knows that Leopard is a big disappointment-APPLE really dropped the ball.

Lets hope SNOW LEOPARD gets rid of some of the stupid useless apps and eyecandy (the side bar on a window-clutter-please make a window clear-not stripped, dump SPOTLIGHT, Spaces and other things of very marginal use-Directory-is just a duplication of calendar and address book-and all the other crap that overloads the system and concentrate on a ROCK SOLID system-now that people are moving to Mac in droves-even thought PC sales are DOWN-lets impress our new club members, eh, Steve? While your at it-since DU is of marginal use-why not buy APPLEJACK and incorporate it into X?
or a combo of AJ, Monolingual, and EASYFIND-scrap Spotlight.

Everybody wants Tiger back - Moonwatcher

I have 4 Macs, of which 2 are running Leopard. These are OK, not bad.
But my 2 main ones I've kept my 10.4.11, mainly because I use them for music production, which up till now, 10.4.11 IS still BETTER ! And I've gotta admit that I do prefer the Tiger Macs - a lot more predictable and I do have more control over the computer.
Just my opinion.

Often the problem can be solved by resetting the AirPort Base Station. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1406
