How so? - DavidRavenMoon

It's written in Java. It doesn't instal any system stuff. How is it bad for you Mac?

Works fine here, but it's a resource hog. But not any more than Safari 3.1.2.

Poison for your Mac - hilolib_dotmac

I downloaded it and used it in 2007 on my iMac G5 PPC with Tiger. It worked well and I downloaded a few songs I could not find anywhere else. Coincidentally, I hope, my hard drive failed a few months later. Whether or not this was LimeWire related, one will never know.

Poison for your Mac - Maybu

I've been using Lime Wire for about 7 years in many different Macs and OS Xs, no problems at all. Very first versions were really slow and buggy but it has evolved to a very good app, don't understand why so many complaints.

Any other suggestion similar to Limewire for Mac Intel. PC version seems to work pretty well, any trojans etc gets picked up by virus protection.
