Unbelievable! - edac2

There's a lot Quark can't do, but drag and drop text has been implemented, just not by default. In preferences, under "Input Settings", there's a check box for Drag and Drop Text.

uhm, drag and drop text has been in since version 7. Prefs>input>drag and drop text. It would be nice if people actually looked at prefs and such before posting an inaccurate and angry review.

Unbelievable! Rant - M Allured

It is too bad that you bashed Quark so bad because you didn't find the preference to use "drag and drop" text. It is in Preferences: Application: Input Settings.

Drag and drop - RobH2

You can drag and drop text within a text box in Quark. You just have to turn it on in the preferences (Application/input settings). I do think that QXP gets a lot of bad press for what is actually a very reliable and easy to use program. True, in the past they have produced some poor versions and had a reputation for bad customer service but they are really trying much harder these days. I have very little trouble with my existing version (7.31).
