In my post, I neglected to mention that my exact Sharp model is the Sharp LC-32G4U, one of the oldest Sharp 32" LCD sets. It has a display and a separate connections box for most of its electronics which are connected to the LCD by a triple cable. There were 37" and 42" models of this type with the 1366x768 resolution and a 45" model with 1920x1080, all with the separate electronics box.

Works with Leopard - X-caiver

When I use the installer it clearly says "This product requires Application Enhancer" and "We will install it for you as part of the installation process."

There is no option on that screen and no 'custom' button anywhere to be found.

I had to go to the APE website to download an APE uninstaller before I rebooted so that junk would never get loaded.
