Any problems uninstalling? Absolutely - jnaeve--2008
I thought I'd try Hear since I'm somewhat of an audiophile and played around with the various settings. It was fun to play with but the audio wasn't great. I have a fairly nice Altec Lansing audio system at home that my Mac is connected to through Griffin's iMic USB adapter. In all, I'd rate Hear at about 2.5 out of 5 stars and not sure why they've received higher. One thing I did notice is that Uninstalling and removing Hear from my system has totally messed up my audio now and I've not found the secret to restoring my audio to its original MacBook Pro quality. Something had happened to it that reminds me of the tiny transistor AM radio I had when I was a kid. This is very disappointing and tells me that JoeSoft has a long way to go before Hear is a real program. Great in concept but horrible in execution. BE AWARE! Don't install this if you're just trying it out, you will regret it.Sunday, July 27 2008 @ 06:59 AM PDT

I gave it another chance but... - simonm1
There are still major problems. It appears Hear is just OSS 3D with a new (albeit pretty) skin. There seems to be some kind of major memory leak because my VM swap partition ballooned astronomically and therefore brought my entire system to a halt....I'm on the latest Leopard.Reply to This
