I haven't read so much bullcrap in so few words in quite a while. That comment intention apparently rather is to harm the project than to give useful feedback.

Looks like an ad for the temperature monitor rather than a serious and useful comment. D2X-XL will use both CPU cores if you let it, and if your Macbook isn't properly cooled (and if you heat it up with your body heat as well), you should rather print "I am dumb enough to almost destroy my MacBook by holding it on my lap". Btw, I've never heard or read of D2X-XL doing anything like that before. In that light the comment sounds pretty idiotic.

Seems to me the worst that would happen would be a core shutdown, which would be a bummer, but not cause permanent damage. You need it in the 90s to do that...
