Try installing it in firewire mode from another mac, it worked fine for us here.Thursday, September 11 2008 @ 01:28 PM PDT

I'd second the firewire mode suggestion. That has worked for me on all my unsupported G4's.Sunday, September 28 2008 @ 08:45 PM PDT
Tried it on several macs - working angel
Update: I had a lot of trouble trying to load it on my 800 MHz 17" imac, 1GB RAM 80 GB HDD. which seems to be the last nut to crack. A college of mine tried it, he did video updates, which I thought were all done, and bingo...... it works. We were able to do an upgrade instead of erase and install. Before it kept going to open firmware, now it just works.Monday, November 24 2008 @ 06:10 AM PST

It worked on my 15” 800Mhz iMac earlier this year. I haven't tried the 2.0 version, since that iMac is basically “retired” now.Reply to This
