Use Apple SW Update instead? - Eric M

You'll always get the correct version for your setup, and remember you always have the option to download only (and not install via SW Update).

Apple Site: Incorrect Download Link! - rricks1

I agree. I does indeed say v. 3.1.1

And when I try to install it, I am told I require MacOS 10.5.2 or higher to install. I was running 10.5.3 and just installed 10.5.4. Same thing. It won't install. Hmmmmmm RR

It appears that since Safari 3.1.2 is part of the OS X 10.5.4 update, Apple currently doesn't provide a separate Safari 3.1.2 Leopard installer, although they do provide a Safari 3.1.2 Tiger installer. Their web page does not make this clear - it claims it will download Safari 3.1.2 and gives you the choice of Leopard or Tiger. If you choose Leopard, you get the Safari 3.1.1 updater.
