Take a deep breath. If you own v12.0, the upgrade to v12.0.1 or now v12.0.2 is free. Just click on “Download,” and look for the free upgrade for v12.0 owners. You will need your serial number.

You shouldn't be paying for updates
look carefully at he form, I believe the second box states : Owners of 12.x enter you serial number
and it is free
