Missing word list - kobalt

I installed the widget successfully by the looks of the widget msg, but it won't recognise any words and I wonder if it has actually downloaded the word list. How can I tell? Where is that list stored?

The latest version does not refer to a .tar archive in the installation instructions, so you must have one of the previous versions. Please download a new copy if this happens to you.
