Adobe vs Final Cut - simg--2008

My wife edits professionally, uses Premiere Pro, uses Final Cut to.
Hated Working on Windows based machines, loves the Mac, and guess what....? If you are a professional you are NOT working on a Power PC,
you are using intel based Macs.

As for Premiere being amateur software, boy have you got that wrong. Nothing amateur about the learning curve of Premiere, on the same level
as FCP.

Not patting Adobe on the back, because the debacle with CS3 and Leopard
is appalling, i am still having problems re-installing programs after upgrade, but do not slate a product that you have not used. Try it in an Intel machine then make your judgment.

5 more years of PPC support? You have to be joking.
OS X Snow Leopard is coming out in early 2009 and that doesn't even support PPC anymore, I doubt the next version of FCP, cpu hungry as it is, is going to be any different.
