Photoshop Elements 6 - Mengoxon

had the same problem, what worked for me? dragging the install folder inside the "Applications" folder and starting the install process from there

Photoshop Elements 6 - bosabra

Had same experience. Tried Mengoxon's solution but to no avail. Tried Adobe support & was told to install using a new 'uncorrupted' user. Didn't work. Support then wanted me to install as the root user. Didn't work.

Did you find a solution for your computer?
