It Just Works... - zunipus
The only problem with Spell Catcher is that it is so well written that it hasn't needed an update. They actually wrote it to standards that Apple themselves had published but had not yet successfully implemented into Mac OS X Tiger. Theoretically Spell Catcher works BETTER in Leopard than in Tiger thanks to Apple catching up with their own technology.Spell Catcher is my #2 most critical add-on to MOSX. #1 is CopyPaste Pro and #3 is WindowShade.

Dead? - Brass Hammer
While I agree it is a handy program, it does have faults. For one thing, it is a pig. It takes tons of processor time and takes forever to start. I dread having to boot the computer as it takes Spell Catcher a good minute to start up.Saturday, July 26 2008 @ 09:19 AM PDT
It's working great on 10.5.2 - sequoia
Nope, it's definitely not dead. Works perfectly on Leopard 10.5.2. Spell Catcher's the first program I add to my new Macs (all Intels). And I do hear there's a new version being developed.Reply to This
