Adds from Address Book w/out Permission! - Gent.m@c

Well, yes there is a way to undo that behavior. But this alone does not justify the five stars as felix01 suggested. Since Skype is closed source and I furthermore don't log network traffic and analyze it here I only can speculate what happens else...
Imagine: a chat-system that is broadcasting information of unknown content _might_ also broadcast the content of your buddy-list - along with the names maybe some phone-numbers and email-addresses? What's the point in turning this behavior off, _after_ you figured this once it already logged into the system?

Go figure - and rethink the call for five stars.

Ah, and add this is point 2 (h) in the PrivacyPolicy of Skype (<http://www.skype.com/intl/en/legal/privacy/general/#2>) to your thoughts:

2. WHAT INFORMATION DOES SKYPE COLLECT?
Skype may gather and process information about you, including (but not limited to) information in the following categories:
...
(h) List of your contacts;
...

Personally I think this behavior is _maybe_ a nice feature and should be disabled by default. Since there is no way so far to start up this version with the new "feature" disabled I strongly recommend to stick at the older versions if you want to keep your contacts off eBay's grid - wuups.

Wow, Felix you sure know how to undermine your own credibility by making yourself look like a pompous jack*ss. Great job.

The original poster had a valid point. His rating stands and is supported by the rest of us.
