I also downloaded the update but didn't install it with startup applications turned off. This update wiped my list of login applications, trashed my CUPS configuration (I figure only full reload will fix that), and broke my cron jobs.
Not a good score for Apple at this point. I've taken to backing up (besides my regular backups) prior to installing any Apple update. So far, it's saved me four times from an unusable system.
