In-fact the Mac version of TrueCrypt does include the MacFuse framework as part of the installation. Unfortunately, the Mac section of the TrueCrypt.org forum has several messages indicating an inability to mount or write TrueCrypt NTFS volumes under OSX. Hopefully those reports are not indicative of an actual lack of NTFS support in the Mac version, but that is how I am interpreting them at this point.
There are also reports of the app failing to launch, possibly due to a failure to package the installer script correctly...
