WireTap Studio is a product we spent a lot of time designing and developing. It changes the audio recording and editing segment in terms of innovative technologies, like LivePreview and lossless recording and editing.
We've won major awards, like the Macworld Eddy, received many high rating review, and as you've seen from other comments here on VersionTracker, received a lot of praise and good feedback.
I'd like to strongly suggest you watch our video tutorials, which are located here:

They will provide you with an overview of the powerful technologies of the application, and also how easy it is to use. Some of the controls are so easy, they are confusing. Think of this like the Mac OS X Dock: People always ask me, "How do I add something or remove something?" Of course, you just drag it in or out, which, once you know is easy, but it's not necessarily apparent or logical at first glance.
Also, feel free to provide feedback and suggestions to our support staff at help@AmbrosiaSW.com -- thanks for taking the time to provide feedback, and we hope you'll check out the tutorials and give WireTap Studio a second look!
