GarageSale 4 crashes constantly and there is no support from the company - NeoX360
I have both iSale and GarageSale 3.x. I went back and forth and finally decided on iSale because of the much better interface and stability. There are a few features in GarageSale that I wish iSale had but the interface and performance of GarageSale have not been great. I sent suggestions when I was a new user about the confusing nature of "Templates" that are not really templates but auctions, and the confusing nature of the interface and was shrugged off by tech support... Try iSale, you won't be sorry.Monday, January 28 2008 @ 12:00 AM PST
GarageSale 4 crashes constantly and there is no support from the company - Anthony Jackson
I tried GarageSale v.4.0, and found that images displayed incorrectly and altering them required many hours of experimentation to find unrelated actions (switching HTNL on and off) got them to cycle through different modes (nor correct, but different, at least).I also got lots of crashes and freezes.
Email support was initially prompt, ended with the instructions to 'be more patient'.
The online manual/help system is for version 3.4 still. Can one 'downgrade', having started from v. 4.0 ? Sounds like 3.4 was much more stable.
I like the idea of the program, and I've checked periodically to see if there are any updates to suggest that it is being repaired, but nothing so far. I'd advise to stay clear for the time being.
