Nothing except your location. Like any online store, Elgato checks your ISP location to ensure you are using the store settings designated for your country. It has to do with a little thing called taxation (in many European countries a national sales tax is included in the retail price). While you could use a US proxy I suppose to mask the ISP location check, you would then have to lie about your country of origin when completing the checkout. All starts to seem a little sleazy... to me at least.
