Translation: "I have a sense of humor...as long as I'm the one being funny."That's an interesting comment. I like the lax "atmosphere." If you want something that doesn't have any humor, perhaps you'd like to help me review tech contracts. Legalese is always fun. You'd hate my articles and podcasts though...very tongue in cheek.
Are you worried that someone will think you're using unprofessional tools? I find it funny when I'm using tools with corny dialog that kick-butt. Other professionals always underestimate them.

"I have a great sense of humor".No you don't.
In fact, you're an ill-humored ninny. It's one thing to roll your eyes 'cuz you don't like the (not at all intrusive) one-liners. It's quite another to proactively go to a web site and blast at them.
LESS HUMOR! That's what we need! You NAILED it.

Wow, an app that brings a multitude of conversion formats, ease of use, nice support, and speed to put QT to sham and you're put off by the one-liners? No I don't know you but God man you make me thing of a blonde easily distracted by shiny objects.I'll wager you'll never buy any software from the Freeverse folks either.

No - I don't know you or your work, but you do sound like many a pretender I've encountered... C'mon now, you're really gonna gripe about an absolute non-issue in a piece of software that allows you to do what you imply to be high quality work AND you're going to complain about being "expected to pay" all of $23.32 — get a life !!!Tuesday, February 19 2008 @ 12:00 AM PST

Well only a question if you like the style. I know what I am doing too, so am using e.g. Advanced settings all day. Nevertheless "Don't! You'll screw it all up!" is not at all un unprofessional remark as heading on advanced window in my eyes - it's likely to come true for most users. Depends if you like it, but why being all reputable and staid all the time. The software does it's job great, that's not changed at all.Anyway, I want one thing to clear (the reason for this comment): The software does not disturb you with unnecessary annoying remarks or poups or anything like that during working. Only the usual remarks and comments are made in a bit of a particular buddy-buddy style.
