VirusScan-Mac now available for Single Users - Bob K1
A bit of clarification:
(1) The McAfee web site says that VirusScan 8.6 is for use with Intel processors only: "System Requirements for McAfee VirusScan for MacTel 8.0 = Apple Mac OS X v10.4 (Tiger) or later 133 MHZ Intel-based processor (or greater) 32 MB RAM."
This appears to contradict VersionTracker, which says that VirusScan 8.6 works with PPC & Intel.
FYI: Apparently, McAfee has again renamed this product from "VirusScan" to "VirusScan for MacTel".
(2) In my previous post, the VirusScan update should be (version 8.6, 11-02-07 [not 11-01-07]).
