Hao Li's attitude is unacceptable - BK0001

I did get a reply from Mr. Li. 36 hours from the email.

I'm still not exactly sure why an upgrade does not just copy the user name / password to the new Leopard database, thus enabling login validation for both the Tiger and the Leopard download screens.

Nonetheless, I do not anticipate downgrading to Tiger, so it's a non issue for me, now that I know that Mr. Li does still respond to customer emails.

Hao Li's attitude is unacceptable - sundoggy

The comments on Hao Li's attitude towards his customers is a little disconcerting since I am a paying customer, who was just considering buying the upgrade for Leopard. Given the fact his upgrade procedure is a near nightmare even when you own a current license, I'm just not sure I want to go through that again.

I mean, everytime there is a Safari upgrade, you have to update Saft, and the process is a full on nightmare. You can't just download the latest version and install. You have to go through some ridiculous process through esellerate or something (can't really remember). But if it's this hard to work with the guy, I just assume find the similar functionality in the multiple products that offer it (probably easier).

Dude, you really need to start working for your customers and not against them.
