Logitech is Simply NOT Mac Compatible - pomegranate

I had the same problem with the previous version (I have a PPC iMac with Leopard). I played about removing certain third party additions such as Default Folder, Little Snitch etc and managed to get it back working again but for the life of me I can't remember what exactly fixed it.

I have had my MX Revolution mouse for 3 months and regard it as an excellent mouse. It can be used at it's intended potential without the dreaded LCC software. The latest version 2.4.0 does not work.
The solution: Download 'Steermouse', you'll also need to read the article 'Getting Logitech's MX Revolution to Play Nice with OS X' at http://leihu.com/journal/archive/id_413.html which will show you how to correctly map the buttons in Steermouse. It works in Tiger and in Leopard and on either a PPC or Intel Mac. You'll have your MX Revolution up and running in no time ;-)
