Downloading still pointing to old version - mike cee

Same problem here. Paid for 8.7, intro page clearly indicated taht I'd be paying for the 8.7 upgrade, then it provided an 8.6 link.

I confirmed that the 8.6 download really is just the same old 8.6 version I already had by reinstalling.

I had the same problem. Just change the URL so that every occurrence of "86" is "87" instead. It worked for me.
