If you mean "How do I remove it from the toolbar?", just hold down the Command (Apple/Cloverleaf) key, then click and drag it out of the Finder toolbar. Else, choose "View -> Customize Toolbar…" and drag the undesired item(s) out from that display.
Note that this works for any toolbars in Mac OS X: Either Cmd-drag items out of the toolbar, or choose "Customize Toolbar…" for detailed configuration.
