Look,I find it hard to understand the real issue here. The cost of this product is sooooo small, compared to almost every other music app or plug in. Much more expensive apps are machine specific, eg. Peak. The reality is that if it's not machine specific you will have many people buying and sharing with fiends, and not being machine specific it will run - and Steve looses needed funds.
Why does he need those funds? Well, it takes time to develop a good app - and this is a very good app. It takes time to build your user support base, and for some time you do not cover your costs until that base is established. Steve also provides FREE and very regular updates. He covers these costs from that original fee.
The app its self is stable and has in my many years of experience with it, run almost faultlessly. When an issue has arisen, Steve is easy to contact and responds very quickly.
