It seems nice but 7 day trial is lame - mguertin

If anyone is in the same boat as me and wants a decent and _free_ VNC viewer for mac check out JollysFastVNC 0.92 and save yourself the hassles and the $$.

I've tried/used all of the OSX VNC clients and Vine is, in my experience of using it daily for work, the most stable, fast and full featured client.

Do I want to pay $30 for a client? No, but thats the price to get into the
game here. If you want and can live w/ lower performance clients that are free, go ahead.

Thanks to those who have expressed appreciation for Vine Viewer. To answer some of the questions posed here. We feel like seven days is more than enough time to test Vine's functionality to see if it's something you will appreciate. If you have a particular reason to need a longer trail (evaluation to write a review or corporate purchase) we are more than happy to offer one.

Licensing -- yes Vine Viewer was written 100% from scratch (in Cocoa) using only the protocol specification as a guide. It's companion piece, Vine Server, which contains many segments of open-source code is and will remain freely available under the GPL.
