Sounds like you need a new computer or a re-install. I've experienced none of the problems that you are citing. This is a great app and basically, IMHO, your one star refers either to your equipment or your computer experience and not at all to the value of this app which will end up steering people away from a real time saver and life organizer. Shame.

To be honest instead of writing such a review you should ask author to be able to disable iCal automatic launch. Quite a strange request tho, as 1) iCal isn't at all unstable and 2) it's at least strange that someone would want to use a mail-calendar-tags integration system without ... calendaring.

So before writing, try the following steps: 1) reinstall your iCal or try to solve iCal issues on your Mac, 2) contact author, 3) connect brain.
