Strange you would say such a thing when my USB GPs works with my Mac just fine. I have used it with MacGPS Pro, Route Buddy and Google Earth Pro just to name a few. As far as Apple making a driver for it, there is no 'driver' needed, the software just has to use the existing USB port driver and communicate using the Garmin protocol as these other software packages do. I also have several apps made by Garmin which do communicate with it but are of no use since this is just a GS receiver and not a mapping, track and routing device.
