You should be running the latest, 0.82. From your posts on the Transmission forums I can say that at least some of your problems are from bugs in 0.80 that have been fixed since then..

Use 0.61 IF you can... that's my recommendation, i was using it until 0.82 worked for me, the versions between 0.61 and 0.82 didn't work for me... but we might have diff systems so...
I am running 10.4.10 on PPCs...
