not sure about intel but it works just fine - philipm
I had endless trouble trying to get it to work more than once, and then for two different user logins.
I tried turning off launching EPSON Scanner Monitor at login and so far it seems more reliable (Mac OS X 10.4.11, iMac Core 2 Duo). It's not clear to me that that background process is needed at all, because it works OK without it running as verified in Activity Monitor.
If I could find a free scanner controller to replace this (there are TWAIN drivers around, but a simple application to control scanning would be good) that ran as a native Intel process, that would be great.
