It is one thing to report on your views of an application but quite another to be so publicly insulting. Further, your admission that you had not backed up for two months, at the same time mentioning your use of SuperDuper! - an app. I personally use and which allows you to schedule backups without user interaction - is, to me at least, indicative of a lack of understanding both of your own responsibilities when using this type of software and computing in general. In other words, back up before you use the software, and backup regularly anyway. Common sense alone should tell you that. Otherwise, why bother to have an app. like SuperDuper! in the first place? The license agreement tells you that the publisher is not liable for consequential loss - did you miss that? Additionally, the ability of XSlimmer to backup an app. before it is slimmed, thus allowing you to revert to the original, is recommended in the help files.
And finally, you say that you lost everything. XSlimmer affects only installable applications, not data. Even if is is to blame for your woes, which I can hardly believe, it will not have affected your bespoke data. You did that by running your two month old backup to restore your system to how it had been at that time. If you had simply restored the applications that had failed on you, your bespoke data should (not would) have been intact. If you had used SuperDuper! to make an archive of your system prior to restoring it from the two month old backup, you would additionally have had a backup of the data you lost.
So before you slag people off, take a moment to look at yourself and ask if there was anything you could have done about the situation. I don't have any connection to the developers of this software, beyond remaining a happy and confident user, and humbly suggest that you have only yourself to blame for the state you found yourself in. Please - read, digest and learn.
