I have had a similar experience with another game. Try this. Download the wonderful application "Clean App" (one of my best ever buys - it is mega useful). This will allow you to completely rip out ALL the files you have downloaded of Mystic Inn. Then download the game again from Version Tracker and put in your serial number. It could well work.
