Kudos for admitting that you know the creator. Far too many reviewers are either the authors of shareware with alias accounts, or stooges to boost ratings.
Negative points for giving the game five stars. That's simply poor judgement, unless you can justify that this game is simply the best Mac game you've every played. Your own negative commentary exposes the falsely inflated five star rating.
Rate applications honestly. Doing so falsely only hurts the game developer's reputation, and moreso your own.
