Well..I used the optional link you posted but after running the updater, which worked, but it won't update my edrive version...and I've run it multiple times with it ending in the dialog box that says "this mac is up to date"..any tricks about updating the edrive?

it seems that is not shearware - alberto2602

1) I opened .dmg file
2) TT was updated on HD (re-start))
3) then, I up-dated the eDrive (re-start)
4) I run TT on my HD (it means: TT run from eDrive)

I was surprised that TT did not ask me anything.

There is only a (big) problem. I have to restart, because I can access to eDrive from "avvio sicuro" ("secure access"?: I'm Italian).

anyway, HD and eDrive tell me that they are running 4.5.3
