If it uses more than 1% while idle, this is a bug and certainly not normal / usual behaviour. If you can reproduce this, please send me detailed instructions on how to do so. If you can't reproduce it but it happens again, it would be very useful to have a snapshot of the state of the application while it hogs the CPU. If you have the developer tools installed, the "Sampler" performance tool can do that. Thanks,
