fine if you want to learn - game author

While the rules are easy to learn, learning how to play good is much more difficult. I suggest, at minimum, to read a beginning book on backgammon, such as Bill Roberties "Backgammon For Winners". A little good strategy goes a long ways. You will win a lot more games in no time.

Also, the game has a learn feature that lets you know when you have made a good or bad move. You can also review its suggested moves to see what the computer player would have done.
