You know, maybe it is just too early in the morning or maybe I am just grouchy, but I cannot stand uninformed commentaries by uninformed people who don't have a clue about how a computer works.

Spybot S&D is incapable of destroying your internet connection unless that connection is being driven by a spyware program. I have the software installed on more than 50 clients computers and there isn't one problem with the operation of the software. It looks a bit dated, but it is overall quite a functional and valuable tool.

So, please, if you are not capable of making informed commentaries don't make them. Ask someone who is knowledgeable about computers what is wrong with your computer, read a book about how a computer works or take it to Best Buy and have the high schoolers that work on their customers' computers to look at it and explain to you what you did wrong.

You are not the only person who makes these ill-informed remarks, you are just about the 10th one I have seen today. Please, just stop until you are prepared and understand your computer.

Spybot is a great piece of software - I can't understand why you had internet connectivity problems. I've used Spybot for a couple of years now and NEVER had any internet problems as related to Spybot (ask me about I.E. versions, that's another story).

If anyone would know about internet issues, it would be me: An accountant who works 10+ hours/day exclusively from home via multiple software packages running on multiple hosted sites - I have to have them all open or que-ed up for access at all times. Plus I have to remotely-access multiple clients' networks which are accessed via multiple remote-access applications. Plus I have to go to eBay for vintage rhinestone-encrusted whistle searches...

Read my review on Spybot...
