Well, I won't say I no longer use PS, but I agree with the gist of the review. NX does produce the nicest conversion, and the ability to work directly with camera settings, as well as see their effect after the fact is a good learning tool as well. The program's UI has some shortcomings but it derservers a serious look.

What about support for DNG files? DNG support is critical to my workflow. Presently, after optimizing my NEFs in Adobe Camera Raw I convert to DNG (without embedding the original NEF) and then delete the NEFs. Will Nikon Capture allow me to open and work on DNGs?
