I'm not smoking anything, are you? - Marguer
I'm not smoking anything. And I've used iPhoto for a very long time. Do you think everyone's experience should mirror your own? What other imaging software are you using, what plugins are you using and do they require Rosetta or do they run native on Intel, what file formats are you using and from which other imaging software, what compression if any are you using in lossy formats, what size of files are you using, does every application and plugin preserve EXIF data, are you using color management, and what file formats are you using direct from your camera, what camera are you using....?I think you can see why others might have problems at the same time others do not.
I appreciate the reality of your problem free reality, but questioning what I'm smoking really is not helpful. Enjoy your own smoke.

Addendum - Marguer
You say you've been using the product for over a year, but yet you cite the application on your MacBook. There hasn't been a single iPhoto over even the past year-there have been several updates and universal binaries/non universal/Intel versions. The iPhoto on your MacBook is not the same as the one running on your G4.Also, the current version of iPhoto was only released two days ago.
And do you really think everyone has the same files and software on their computers that you have on yours?
